Ever wonder why there is such a panic whenever a crisis hits....?It is because people tend to put things off and THINK there is still plenty of time to get that bug out bag ready, or to start stockpiling food. Next thing they know, some storm hits and the city is out of power and water for several days! Don't wait to prepare! Once a calamity happens, it WILL BE TOO LATE to get an emergency plan together!
To me, the best survival plan is simply one that is put into action!
Long term survival preparation is an ongoing thing. The word "emergency crisis" means exactly that... If we knew what moment it was going to happen there would be no need for preparation.
We would simply treat it as any other event we have planned, get ready for it, clean up after it, etc...but because we have no idea WHAT or HOW things are going to take place is why we need some sort of basic survival plan in place.
Pretty simple actually when you look at it like that...
Here are a few Simple Steps to Prepare Yourself for ANY Basic Survival Moment
Have a simple Bug Out Bag ready and stored somewhere easily accessible
Remember, in a power outage it is not always possible to google things so you may want to have some short lists printed out and stuck in your survival kit. =)
