Emergency Preparedness in The Form of a Bug Out Bag!
It is absolutely a must to have a simple emergency preparedness plan as we never know when an emergency or survival situation may arise.
Having a simple 72 hour survival kit could mean the difference between survival and utter chaos in the event that we get caught in the middle of a pandemic scenario.
One of the simplest ways to do that is to have a Bug Out Bag for each person and then keep each bag in a place where it will be easy to locate at a moment's notice.
And JUST as importantly is to make sure that everyone KNOWS what the 'plan' is... where their bags are located at, what they are expected to do and where to meet up at, in the event you get separated, etc.
You may not be at home when an emergency strikes so keep some additional emergency preparedness supplies in your car and at work, considering what you would need for your immediate safety.
How to Make Your Own Bug Out Bags Prepare one Go-bag for each family member and make sure each has an I.D. tag.
There are some Bug Out Bag Essentials you will want to add, regardless what your circumstances are, and then the list below will also give you an idea of what goes into each bag.
Make sure to click on the bag above, yup, the one with the shoes sitting next to it...where you can get MORE detailed info on how to put together a bug out bag. :)
The bug out bag list listed below is for a longer period of time but you can also buy or make 72 hour kits as well.
