Nostradamus 2012 - Interesting Facts
I find the whole 2012 end of the world scenario interesting and the "Nostradamus 2012" and Mayan Prophesies combination is quite intriquing.
Especially when you read some of the facts on it. And I am
just like many of you... simply researching and finding facts online.
There is a whole peliferation of stuff on the whole Nostradamus 2012 End of The World topic and we just have to use the brain and common sense that God gave us when we are reading it all!
We have been adding a few 2012 Survival type books here and info as we find them, as some of them are really interesting and the nice thing is, there is a lot of information compacted into book form that can take MONTHS to find yourself..
I am not one to totally throw everything away....
I am a firm believer that the prepared person with a survival
plan in place - will always outrun the one that is caught unprepared!.
Pretty simple.
But back to the Nostradamus 2012 stuff...
According to Nostradamus, in the year 2012, our solar system will pass through the galactic plane of the Milky Way galaxy...and through a domino effect of things happening that I do not fully understand, will cause earthquakes in both the sun and most of the major planets.
This in turn will cause whole continents to go underwater within a matter of hours.... which is why many 2012 survivalists are preparing to board huge ships just before the event happens.
Then you also have the Mayan Calendar which is known to be the most acurate form of keeping track of time.
The Mayan civilization was extremely advanced in astonomy, mathematics and astrology.
For some reason the Mayans had an uncanny knowledge of time and space. The had something called a "The Great Cycle of the Long Count Calendar"...and according to that, the current great cycle is due to be completed at the end of December 2012.
Ultimate Destruction in 2012?
Some survivalists believe there will be ultimate destruction at that
time while others believe it will only be the beginning of a new age,
marked by significant changes in many areas.
Hopefully it will not be a catastrophic event but anything could happen.
And for that simple reason it is good to be prepared...
I would suggest having something like a 3 month survival plan in place...you never know, we might need it way before 12-21-2012!
Have enough food stockpiled for 3 months..mountain house foods are an excellent choice for that as they have a long shelf life.
Have some form of alternative energy in place... get a small generator for home use, or you may want to tackle the task of building your own solar or wind system. (we have info on DIY Solar/Wind Plans here)
