When looking at a survival generator, there are many options to choose from.

A small electric generator may be all you need to power the necessities in your home.
I know of folks that have invested in a bigger unit that not only gives them an umlimited amount of power, but they are using it on a daily basis to avoid the high cost of electricity.
Regardless WHAT kind of alternative power system you decide to use, it is VERY WISE to not wait till last minute to get one!
A hurricane, tornado, or earthquake can wipe out the local power system for DAYS and once it happens, it is often too late to get a generator quickly enough as it only takes a few hours for stores to sell out in an emergency or crisis situation.
BE PREPARED!
YOUR or my town may be next to get hit with something that knocks out the power for days, and...
