If you have been looking for wind generator kits online, then I am sure you have discovered that there are a gazillion help books and tools to help you get it done.
Which is not all bad. That way you can choose the ebook or plan that works best for you. The picture shown here is one that Amazon buyers recommend if you want to buy a ready made wind turbine. I am convinced the reason the first e-book on how to build a wind generator was ever written was because some guy built his own wind generator and then everyone else wanted to know how he did it and eventually he just wrote it all down...We have listed a few key things to watch for below if you DO buy a guide on how to make a wind generator as you can usually build one for much less than a ready made one. (I think if you buy one like the pic above the cost is around $500.)

Fortunately now there are videos to help with building them, and you will want to make sure you get a good plan with videos.

When looking for a wind generator kits plan, look for the following features:
- Illustrations and Videos: Visual descriptions and watch along guides work better than text only ones.
If your wind generator guide has illustrative descriptions for making a windmill, it makes your task easier.
- Easy language: If your guide uses a lot of jargon and technical information, it is better to look for a different one.
Look for one that has easy-to-understand language making your task fluid.
- Component descriptions: The guide should also be able to provide you with detailed visual and textual descriptions of all the components you need to use.
It is also important that the guide tells you which type of component works best for your individual situation.
- Last but not least...make sure you get an American guide!
It will be useless to get some plan from Europe or China and you are living in the US.
